The classic love story of Belle, a kind—hearted but misunderstood young woman, and the Beast, a pompous prince who has been turned into an animal by the spell of an enchantress. The only chance the Beast has of breaking the spell is to learn both how to love and how to be loved, lessons for which he turns to Belle for help. Based on a well—known French fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast was released as a film by Walt Disney Pictures in 1991, where its state—of—the—art animation and profoundly relevant story line made it popular with children and adults alike. The elements that make Beauty and the Beast so magical onscreen translate beautifully to the stage, where its grandeur and scale promises to thrill Playhouse theater—goers.

Contestants of the latest reality television craze, Leftover – the cable access answer to Survivor – discover reality bites, as they are stalked by a crazy killer.  Competition is stiff and they just might wind up dead if they don’t watch their backs.  The host only cares that a body count is good for ratings, carved coconuts contain cryptic threats, the Vaseline is running low and no on though to bring a coffin as a luxury item.  Enjoy an evening of dinner and death with the interactive Survivor parody murder mystery.  Be prepared to search for clues and laugh away with an evening’s comedy.  The lucky few may get to compete with the castaways – to see who will be crowned Leftover.

Warrior Concepts International, formerly Miller's Martial Arts, will be holding it's 14th annual Youth Summer Day Camp at it's Sunbury Academy.  The camp, designed especially for youth 6 — 12 years old, is scheduled in two, week—long sessions.  Session 1 will run from July 7 thru the 11th and Session 2 is scheduled for August 18th — 22nd.  The cost of the camp starts at just $$65 and includes an official martial arts uniform.  Pre—registration is required.
 
`The martial arts are a great way to teach the values that parents want their children to learn,` says founder and chief instructor, Jeffrey M. Miller.  Children have a great time while learning the traits and life skills of confidence, respect, discipline, and how to be a leader.
 
The typical schedule, from 9am to 4pm, each day includes a martial arts class, fitness, community time as—well—as fun and games.  Children are also introduced to Japanese language and culture in the form of arts and crafts projects and more.
 
`Many of our Junior Black Belts got their start in our Martial arts Day Camp,` Says Miller.  They liked it so much that they enrolled into the regular program and went on to earn their black belts.  Many of them are now teens and even adults.  `They've become positive, powerful, and productive members of our community and we're very proud of them!`
